| Interstate 85 southbound in northern Durham County was turned into a parking lot after the pilot of this small plane clipped the tops of the trees and nosedived onto the interstate. A life flight helicopter from UNC Hospitals transported the pilot to Memorial Hospital Chapel Hill. |
