| A Durham police investigator examines the interior of a Mercedes after the driver was shot dead at the Duke Manor Apartments on La Salle St. on Thursday night. Police were looking for three men in a grey SUV who fled the scene at the time of the shooting around 10pm. The murder followed a string of armed robberies and assaults during the past week in the sprawling complex which has had a long history of violent crime. |
